The Back Yard of Love is a beautiful and intimate setting for your special day. Situated on the grounds of Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse, under a canopy of old, majestic oaks and strung lights, this magical setting is the perfect backdrop for an event you will never forget. Simple and comfortable. Elegant yet casual.
We can host your wedding or if you prefer, you can hold your ceremony just down the street on the sugar-white sands of one of America’s most beautiful beaches, then you and your party can migrate to our romantic garden setting for the reception. Rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, reunion or private party, we can host up to 75 guests in a relaxed atmosphere for an occasion you’ll remember for a lifetime.
Adirondacks, highboys, white tables and chairs, there is an eclectic mix of seating. For music, there is a stage for live performances and we offer a sound system, suitable for our venue and a sound engineer.
We have 13 distinctly different accommodations available for you and your guests, all furnished and decorated with a vintage, Old Florida feel. Our rooms all have a satellite TV, a mini or full-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, private bath and Wi-Fi. Three of our accommodations are one bedroom apartments with full kitchen and two others share a kitchen and spacious common area.
You and your guests will also enjoy a wonderful breakfast every morning in the Café and we are within walking distance of a variety of local eateries.

|There are no room rental requirements for “Other Events.” Rates for “Other Events” are based on an attendance of up to 30 guests and there are no additional room rental requirements.
*For Events held in June or July, our venue fee is an additional $1,000.
**Room Rental Requirements
In addition to our venue fee, we require a 2 night rental of the 5 rooms adjoining the Backyard: The Hibiscus, Magnolia, Turner and Art Deco rooms (which are in the Cafe building), and the Woodpecker Cottage.
