| A very hot month in South Walton, and quite busy. You will want plenty of cold drinks and watermelon on hand. The parade in Seaside gets more elaborate every year, while the parade in Grayton Beach is just a bunch of folks being crazy. Strolling on the beach on the night of the 4th, you’ll see fireworks all along the gentle curve from Destin to Panama City. |

"Hugs keep
cyclists pedaling to Hibiscus" By
Joyce Owen, Walton Sun, 07/28/07

bicyclists roll into the parking lot
at the Hibiscus Coffee and Guest
House in Grayton Beach on Saturday
morning they are warmly greeted by

| Just Come and Be...
(Southern Living, June 2005)
It's simply a place to "be." That word
starts the commands Cheri Peebles writes on
the board at Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse
every mornmg. "It's all about us," she says
in that Grayton way. "It's usually something
I need that day, 'Be Grateful' or 'Be
Understanding', or 'Be Optimistic.'"

Living Magazine
