Is breakfast included with our stay?
Yes. We serve breakfast from 8:00 to 11:00 in our Café.
How far away is the beach from where you are located?
About 1/2 a mile; a little less than a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride.
Are your rooms pet friendly?
Three of our rooms are pet friendly and can accommodate up to 2 dogs (weight limit 50 lbs.) We charge a $25.00 per night fee for animals staying in one of our pet friendly rooms. Our pet friendly rooms are the Art Deco Room, Flat Two and Funky Bird.
If there are any issues with guest complaints with animals barking or causing a disturbance, we reserve the right to ask you to handle the situation ASAP or vacate the premises.
Can we check in early?
Because we may need to clean your room before you arrive, check in time is normally 3:00 pm. However if you call our office the day before, and no one is occupying the room, we can allow you to check in early.
Can we have a late check out?
Because we may need to get the room ready for another guest, normal check out time is 11:00 am. However, if you check with us the day you are leaving, and no one is coming into the room that day, we will be able to allow check out as late as 12:00pm.
Does my room have kitchen amenities?
Yes. Rooms come with some sort of fridge, a microwave and a coffee pot (with coffee). In addition, the Old Florida and Funky Bird rooms have kitchenettes with counter space and sink for food prep. The Romance and Tropical Bird rooms share a common area with a full kitchen and the Flats each have a full kitchen.
I am bringing my children, Do you have a room suitable for them?
Yes! We do have rooms suitable for children. We offer two one bedroom apartments, Flat Three and Flat Four, which can each sleep four guests, the Art Deco and Hibiscus rooms which have roll-away cots that can accommodate a third guest, and the Romance and Tropical Bird rooms which have sofa sleepers .
Please Note: Guestroom rates are for 2 guests. We charge $15 per night per guest above 2. (Two years and Older)
Do you offer maid services during our stay?
Yes. We try to be environmentally friendly, so we do not automatically wash your room’s towels and linens during your stay, nor do we want to enter your room unless you ask. But we will gladly tidy up your room on your request. The "Do Not Disturb" door hanger says "Please Tidy" on the other side. By noon, just hang it outside your door, tidy side out and housekeeping will be happy to bring you fresh towels, extra toiletries, make your bed and do a quick sweep.
Is there WiFi on the property?
Is there an Ice Machine?
We do not have an ice machine that is accessible to the public, but if you come into the office during office hours or ask in the cafe during breakfast, we will take care of you.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open in the morning from 9:30am to 11:00am and in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Otherwise we can be reached by cell phone, as we are out and about on the property.
Where should I park my vehicle?
In the rear parking lot. There is plenty of space. We prefer tha you not park in the Cafe parking lot.
Do you offer beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas for your guests?
We offer towels for you to use, and if you need to switch them out, you can do so. While we do not offer beach chairs or umbrellas, we can refer you to some local businesses that do.
Do you offer bikes for your guests?
No, we do not personally offer bikes, however there are three bike rental services nearby and we would be happy to direct you. (Most will offer a discount for our patrons)
What types of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover.
Do you offer shuttle services to and from the Airport?
No, however, you can always use Paradise Taxi (850-200-2258), Emerald Coast Taxi (850-654-7000) or Sunshine Shuttle (850-650-6333).
